Dear visitor,

We welcome you to DR.G.L DUTTA D.A.V PUBLIC SCHOOL,Transport Nagar Patna,

We believe, when the going gets tough the tough gets going.

It goes without saying that change is the law of nature. In fact, we are witnessing change in every sphere of life. But as academicians, we are watching drastic changes in the realm of education. Once upon a time, teachers and students remained confined to chalk and board methodology. As a matter of fact, students had to depend on classroom teaching to a greater extent. But now young learners are being exposed to digital library, computer lab with internet facility, whole school premises having Wi-Fi facility, well-equipped science labs, digital/smart classes, language labs etc. Needless to say, they are always in touch with ipods, epods, whats app, twitter, facebook. Such electronic gadgets and means of information have definite repercussions on the school-going children. They are being exposed to varieties of means of information and knowledge on the one hand, there is much more possibility of their deviation from the right track on the other which puts the parents on tenterhooks as regards to its consequences. But in spite of evil impact of information technology, we have to welcome it for positive change in the life of young learners. As such, if students capitalise on proper use of modern technology particularly with regard to enhancement of knowledge and career & professional growth, young generation of India can very well keep pace with the fast- changing world and it will be benison for them. If they  have better social milieu without blemishing time-tested traits of moral and ethical values of life, we shall definitely get ineffable joy.Now it is high-time to ensure perfect co-ordination between the school and the parents. It is so because out of 24 hours, students spend 6 hours in school and the rest 18 hours at home. They are taught and groomed in conducive and vibrant environment of the school but the environment of education at their home is, sometimes, different. It so happens because parents, other family-members, neighbours and friends have much to do with the moral, educational, social, emotional, physical & spiritual growth of children. Keeping it in view, both the school and the parents have to enter into joint venture with shared responsibility in order to produce ideal citizens of the country.
